At SREIslamic we support Muslim parents to understand and respond to Relationships and Sex Education in schools. We believe parents need to be supported to understand the rules which underpin statutory RSE. This knowledge enables them invest their energies to respond proactively and effectively. Yet RSE in schools is just one way our children’s values, norms and behaviours towards sex, relationships and LGBT are being shaped. We believe in the capacity parents and the community to respond by becoming confident in our own values and narratives.

We contribute to this through awareness raising workshops, seminars, programmes and resources founded on the timeless principles of Islam.
